About the Role

Five Rivers Child Care Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fostering Services Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for inspiring and leading a team of dedicated staff and carers who are passionate about providing children and young people with the opportunity to flourish and fulfill their true potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver Five Rivers' Business Plan and contribute to the growth and development of our Fostering Service.
  • Ensure the service meets all regulatory requirements and is compliant with Ofsted standards.
  • Lead a team of staff and carers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Management Group to develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.
  • Travel within the service area and occasionally beyond for meetings and events.
Requirements
  • Experience in a management position within a Fostering Service, either in an Independent, Voluntary, or Local Authority setting.
  • Current Social Work England Registration.
  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management qualification or equivalent.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with staff, carers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9 am to 5 pm, Friday 9 am to 4:30 pm.
