Health and Safety Compliance Officer

Are you an organized and meticulous professional with a strong commitment to health and safety? Our client is looking for a Health and Safety Compliance Officer to enhance their team and streamline their operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Health & Safety Management system, ensuring proper document control
• Develop risk assessments and standard operating procedures
• Conduct DSE and environmental risk evaluations
• Investigate and analyze accidents, incidents, and near misses
• Plan, implement, and document all operational plant and equipment inspections in compliance with current legislation
• Manage a thorough contractor evaluation process, including on-site oversight of contractors to meet legislative standards

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in a similar role or department
• IOSH/NEBOSH or other safety-related certifications (preferred)
• Familiarity with ISO management systems (preferred)
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent administrative skills
