Job Description

Job Summary:

HFN Landscapes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts and Operations Manager to oversee multiple landscaping projects in the Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage landscaping teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety legislation and company policies.
  • Financial Management: Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Team Management: Direct and motivate site teams to ensure they are appropriately trained and equipped to carry out their responsibilities.
  • Reporting and Administration: Produce regular reports and ensure all operations are carried out in line with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in contracts management, preferably in the landscaping industry.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Financial Management: Experience in managing project finances, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Health and Safety: Up-to-date knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Education and Qualifications: Relevant qualifications, such as SMSTS or CSCS Management.
