Zachary Daniels recruitment is proud to support this rapidly growing, global retailer in the appointment of a Food Proposition Manager to drive their trading team forward.

The Food Proposition Manager will play a crucial role in shaping and developing the company's various food propositions across their store estate, ensuring the offer is optimal and fit for the future through their various trading models.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the food industry and be able to define what the various food propositions are and under what circumstances they would be deployed, including identifying gaps in their offer and providing recommendations for addressing these.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Enhancing the reputation in food through proposition development and relationships with brand partners and landlords
  • Understanding the profitability of the different food propositions to ensure the business is optimizing its offer in each location
  • Influencing and gaining support from key stakeholders and teams to continue to enhance the food offer, particularly working closely with the Business Development team around existing and potential new partnerships
  • Defining the future coffee and breakfast offer/key day part food solutions, including recommendations around which proposition to deploy in each location
  • Coaching and supporting workstreams through to completion, ensuring the food vision is delivered

The successful candidate will have a love of food, previous experience in food buying or category management, and a competitive salary and car allowance.
