About the Role

We are seeking a recent Civil Engineering Graduate to join our team at Van Elle, the UK's largest geotechnical and ground engineering contractor.

This challenging and demanding role will provide a fantastic opportunity to begin your engineering career alongside our experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of site operations to ensure safety, quality, cost-effectiveness, timely production, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in planning operations, writing method statements and risk assessments, and procuring resources.
  • Implement quality control measures and QA processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor project progress and take a proactive approach in Health and Safety.
  • Attend client meetings and provide necessary resources for operatives.
  • Complete quality inspections and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Additional tasks as required to support the team.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Practical experience in construction or a similar industry.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is preferred.
  • IT skills in Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid CSCS Card and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective under pressure with attention to detail and a structured problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and knowledge of relevant regulations.

Additional Requirements:

  • Eligible to work and live in the UK.
  • Flexibility to travel in the UK and a full valid UK driving licence.
