Key Responsibilities

As a Guest Services Coordinator, your primary duties will include:

  1. Welcoming guests upon arrival and ensuring a smooth and professional check-in and check-out experience.
  2. Maintaining a thorough understanding of hotel amenities and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
  3. Proactively promoting hotel services to enhance guest satisfaction.
  4. Managing guest accounts and billing processes with accuracy and efficiency.
  5. Balancing cash and credit transactions at the end of each shift.
  6. Handling incoming calls and addressing inquiries from guests and external parties.
  7. Responding to guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
  8. Ensuring the reception area is kept clean and organized in line with departmental standards.
  9. Reporting maintenance and technical issues promptly.
  10. Upholding health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
  11. Collaborating effectively with colleagues to foster a respectful and harmonious work environment.
  12. Performing additional duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Profile

While previous experience in hotel reception is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite as comprehensive training will be provided.

Essential Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Numeracy and IT proficiency.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Educational qualifications equivalent to GCSE, particularly in English and Maths, are preferred.
