Job Title: Dentist - Endodontics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Dentist to join our Endodontics Service as a Specialty Dentist. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality endodontic care to patients and contributing to the development of the service.

About the Role

The post holder will work under the supervision of Dr. Phillip L. Tomson, Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and Head of Service for Endodontics. The successful candidate will be expected to manage a wide range of endodontic cases, provide advice and assistance to junior dental staff, and participate in clinical teaching and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality endodontic care to patients
  • Manage a wide range of endodontic cases
  • Provide advice and assistance to junior dental staff
  • Participate in clinical teaching and training
  • Contribute to the development of the Endodontics Service
Requirements
  • Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC)
  • Level 2 accreditation in Endodontics
  • Inclusion in GDC Specialist List for Endodontics or Restorative Dentistry
  • Completed four years' full-time (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) since first obtaining registration, including adequate experience in the relevant specialty
  • Evidence of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Teaching experience
