Job Overview

The Transformation Unit is seeking a highly skilled Dentist to join our team as a Specialty Dentist in Endodontics. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our Endodontics service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver treatment and participate in diagnostic and treatment planning clinics, managing a wide range of endodontic cases under the supervision of consultants.
  • Provide advice and assistance to junior dental staff in training, and participate in clinical teaching of trainees and postgraduate dental students.
  • Contribute to Hospital/Departmental Quality Assurance, Clinical Audit, and Clinical Governance programs.
  • Participate in annual appraisals and job planning.
Requirements
  • Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
  • Level 2 accreditation in Endodontics.
  • Inclusion in GDC Specialist List for Endodontics or Restorative Dentistry.
  • Completed four years' full-time (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) since first obtaining registration, including adequate experience in the relevant specialty.
  • Evidence of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Teaching experience.
