Central Employment Agency (North East) Limited is partnering with a leading Automotive Manufacturer to recruit a skilled Business Development Manager (B2B Fleet) to join their Commercial team in Teesside. This exciting role offers a competitive salary of £35,000-£50,000 DOE, with an OTE of £75k+ and a £4k car allowance.

Job Profile:

The Business Development Manager (B2B Fleet) will report to the Commercial Director and be responsible for sourcing new business opportunities across van sales & conversion specialisms. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and deliver new business opportunities into the organisation using industry knowledge, relationships, and lead sourcing.
  • Take ownership of a developed customer base, receiving inbound and making outbound calls to new and existing customers to support their needs for vehicle sales, bodybuilding, and conversions.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation for vehicle sales is accurate and complete, including end user details, specifications, finance details, and vehicle allocations.
  • Liaise with finance, operations, and registration departments to ensure timely processing of sales.
  • Be accountable for sales reporting, using the CRM system and knowledge of pipeline deals and customers' needs to forecast and win business.
  • Address and resolve any customer issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Work closely with other members of the sales team, production, and aftersales departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar field-based role and sector.
  • B2B Fleet sales experience is essential.
  • Proven ability to develop new business.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and generic CRM management software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Relevant certifications in automotive sales or administration are a plus.
