Omega Tutoring is seeking dedicated educational facilitators to provide individualized support to children requiring academic assistance.

The role involves:

  • Working one-on-one with learners aged 5 to 16 years.
  • Engaging with students who may be disenchanted with conventional schooling and could be out of the educational system.
  • Conducting sessions at the learner's residence or a nearby community library.
  • Addressing the unique learning needs of students who may struggle with standard teaching approaches and may present behavioral or special educational needs (SEN) challenges.
  • Committing to approximately 3 hours of tutoring per day, 5 days a week, with opportunities for additional hours.
  • Focusing primarily on core subjects, specifically English and Mathematics.
Contract Information:
  • Position - Educational Facilitator
  • Contract type - Temporary
  • Duration - Ongoing
  • Work schedule - Part-time, Monday to Friday
  • Compensation - £20 per hour
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of a degree-level qualification is required.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs is essential.
  • A passion for fostering student success is crucial.
  • A positive demeanor and an engaging instructional style are important.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
  • An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate is necessary.
