Job Summary

Medway Community Healthcare is seeking an experienced AHP practice education facilitator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in shaping and driving forward the AHP education agenda, making a real impact on the future of healthcare.

Main Duties of the Job

Key responsibilities include:

Contributing to the strategic planning and development of AHP training programmes to ensure alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify training needs and develop comprehensive learning objectives and outcomes.

Designing and delivering engaging training sessions, workshops, and educational materials that promote best practices and evidence-based care.

Providing ongoing support, mentorship, and supervision to AHP students, preceptors, and newly qualified practitioners to facilitate their transition into clinical practice.

Evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes through assessment and feedback mechanisms, and making recommendations for continuous improvement.

Keeping abreast of advancements in AHP practice, education, and technology to ensure training programmes remain current and relevant.

AHP Registration and Experience

Essential

AHP registration.

Desirable

Post-registration experience minimum 3 years.

Supportive statement giving good overview of previous experience and competence.

Experience of supporting newly registered staff in practice, supporting with competency development and assessment.

Practice Educator

Experience of supporting students, staff, and apprentices.

Experience of delivering training and assessment of staff in practice.
