Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with challenging behaviour in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement behaviour management strategies in collaboration with teachers and SENCO
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualised behaviour plans
  • Monitor and track student progress in behaviour goals
  • Support students in developing social and emotional skills
Requirements:
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Training in de-escalation techniques
Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom setting with students exhibiting challenging behaviour. The ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage challenging situations is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
