Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with challenging behaviour in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to students with challenging behaviour, working closely with teachers and SENCO to implement behaviour management strategies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of behaviour plans, monitoring and tracking student progress towards behaviour goals.
  • Support students in developing social and emotional skills, promoting positive behaviour and relationships.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Training in de-escalation techniques.
Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom setting with students exhibiting challenging behaviour. The ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage challenging situations is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
