Job Title: Service Coordinator

At Airswift, we are seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator to join our team. As a Service Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our finance stakeholders across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and coach a team of 45+ individuals in Manchester, focusing on payroll, billing, and credit control processes.
  2. Oversee month-end close processes, delivering payroll, client billing, treasury, and funding requirements, supplier payments, and credit control.
  3. Analyze operational and technical information to identify and develop recommendations for improvements in finance processes and policies.
  4. Set key performance indicators, strategic vision, and project roadmap for the Shared Services organization.
  5. Lead teams to meet and exceed targets and KPIs, focusing on service delivery, process improvements, and documentation.
  6. Develop and implement policies and accompanying audit controls.
Requirements:
  1. At least 5 years of relevant experience and a proven track record of career progression.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is a must, CPA, Qualified Accountant, or Master's degree preferred.
  3. Experience managing a sizeable team in a Shared Services environment with most Shared Services functions: payroll, billing, credit control, and accounts payable.
  4. Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proven experience leading and delivering projects.
  6. Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  7. Proficient with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  8. Power BI, Dynamics D365, OneStream experience is a plus.
  9. Ability to work in a time-sensitive, pressured environment with non-flexible Group deadlines.
  10. Ability to be flexible and multitask with day-to-day workflow.
  11. Able to demonstrate examples of process improvement and change management skills.
  12. Previous experience working with one or more accounting systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.
