We are seeking a dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team at a specialized service focused on supporting young adults with disabilities.

This role is pivotal in fostering independence and ensuring a high standard of both physical and mental health for our residents. Our commitment is to create an environment where every individual feels secure, valued, and empowered to lead their best life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' needs and ensure that care plans are effectively implemented and monitored, aligning with NMC guidelines and current legislation.
  • Collaborate with both clinical and non-clinical teams, taking the lead when necessary, while maintaining exceptional standards in clinical administration and record-keeping.
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop care plans and utilize appropriate assessment tools.
  • Administer medications in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council's guidelines.
  • Ensure all clinical documentation is meticulously maintained and patient records are accurately filed.
  • Work independently with confidence and expertise to deliver a specialized and safe service to patients.
  • Uphold and contribute to the standards of professional care, ethics, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current NMC Pin registration (RGN).
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.K.
  • Compliance in PEG, Catheter, and diabetes management is essential.
  • Understanding of physical and learning disabilities, patient deterioration, and Epilepsy, or a willingness to learn.
  • Proficient in documentation, care planning, and medication management.
  • Familiarity with manual handling, DOLs, MCA, and dysphagia is advantageous. Strong organizational and leadership skills are required.
  • Knowledge of Care Home procedures and policies is preferred.
