Person Specification

• RGN Qualification: Must hold a valid RGN qualification

• Independent Nurse Prescriber: Must be a qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber registered with the NMC

• NMC Revalidation: Must meet NMC revalidation requirements as outlined in the NMC Revalidation booklet

• Qualifications:
+ For qualifications obtained after December 2020: A Master's degree is required with reference to RCN Credentialing for Advanced Level Nursing Practice
+ For qualifications obtained up to December 2020: A Postgraduate diploma or degree in Advanced Practice is required

• Accredited Training in the following areas:
+ Urgent Care
+ Chronic Disease Management or Frailty

• Autonomous Practice: Proven experience working independently in an Advanced Nurse Practitioner role

• Primary Care Experience: Previous experience within a primary care network or general practice setting

• Triage Expertise: Demonstrable skills and experience in patient triage

• Audit Experience: Experience in conducting audits to improve care quality

• QOF Data Management: Proficient in handling and updating QOF data

• Clinical Supervision: Experience in supervising or supporting the training of junior clinical team members
