Job Title: Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at Choice Consultants. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling a broad portfolio of media solutions to business customers across Aberdeen, Grampian, and surrounding areas.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a pioneering media group that has experienced continued expansion through innovation and acquisition. You will be based from home, in the field, and in the office, dealing with clients covering Aberdeen and Grampian. Your primary responsibility will be to sell a range of media opportunities to direct clients.

  • Liaise and negotiate with senior key decision-makers within a range of customer sectors both over the phone, face-to-face, and using video.
  • Sectors will include Entertainment, Arts and Leisure, Business, Health & Beauty, Food & Drink, Property and Homes, Retail, and Travel.
  • Solutions will include print, radio digital advertising (display, banner), sponsorship, content services, bulletins, social media, video, and events.
  • Sourcing potential customers and developing leads by cold call telemarketing.
  • Taking a consultative approach to the sales process and presenting their product offering.
  • Selling bespoke opportunities to customers and developing commercial partnerships.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Ideal experience as a media/advertising sales executive with a solid track record of developing new business and managing existing accounts from any advertising/media sales environment.
  • Alternatively, you will have experience from any B2B sales environment.
  • An articulate self-starter with a proactive and creative approach, with the ability to negotiate deals and strive to continue this market-leading brand's impressive success.
  • A strong understanding of the media and marketing departments.
  • Interest in and a knowledge of digital media would also be an advantage.

We offer a competitive package including:

  • Basic salary to £30K + uncapped bonus (OTE £39K) + car allowance £4K + benefits associated with a leading media player.
