The Opportunity

As a Frasers Group team member, you will join one of the UK's most rapidly expanding retail organizations. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing your store and leading your team within Frasers Group.

Your success will stem from your ability to train, mentor, and enhance team engagement to exceed company goals. You will champion business initiatives and ensure they are executed with enthusiasm and efficiency, while also managing store operations, customer service, budget oversight, personnel, and inventory. Additionally, you will take charge of key responsibilities, sharing accountability for the store's performance.

Operations:

Oversee all store functions and meet expectations on all performance indicators Assist in planning workloads to guarantee a productive and effective team Make decisive choices and delegate tasks efficiently Ensure adherence to processes and procedures while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both staff and customers Facilitate training and coaching for the team to achieve best practices Utilize business communication tools to track task completion and meet deadlines

Financial Management:

Analyze reports to ensure payroll controls are maintained weekly, addressing any issues promptly Aid in scheduling store hours in accordance with trading patterns and business expectations Ensure compliance in payroll processing and resolve issues effectively Support daily store structure to meet compliance, customer service, and security standards Be responsible for managing wage expenditures

Sales Performance

Comprehend business and customer expectations and inspire the team to deliver outstanding customer service Grasp product features and benefits, assisting in training the team to maximize sales potential Understand assigned performance targets and support tracking against these goals while motivating the team. Stay informed about the retail sector, business challenges, competitors, and customers, demonstrating strong commercial awareness Use reports to analyze and support the commercial viability of key products to influence sales and profitability Apply merchandising guidelines effectively to the sales floor with strong commercial insight and efficiency

Team Development

Assist in identifying internal talent and support performance management processes to drive exceptional results Help identify performance challenges Be proactive in personal development and accept constructive feedback Understand and promote Frasers Group core values, coaching the team to engage with these principles Encourage team feedback and act as a liaison between the team and Assistant Manager

Leadership and Management

Motivate the team and serve as a role model Support coaching and motivating the team to achieve their goals Take ownership of key responsibilities and be accountable for outcomes Build relationships with the store team to ensure alignment towards common objectives Collaborate with your Assistant Manager to contribute to the overall success of the store

Required Skills

Experience in supervisory or management roles within a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment Ability to positively influence results in sales, payroll, and inventory management Proven track record of nurturing talented individuals Capacity to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines Commitment to supporting the store manager in achieving the highest standards of store operations and customer service
