Team Overview

Our Business Services division comprises innovative, strategic thinkers dedicated to empowering the organization. Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in the evaluation and implementation of HR policies and practices that foster a high-performance culture, ensuring fairness and inclusivity while promoting engagement and productivity to achieve organizational and personnel objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Head of HR Advisory and the People & Culture Leadership team to maintain current UK people policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practices and compliance with employment legislation.
  • Adopt an evidence-based approach to policy development, drawing from best practices, academic research, organizational data, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Propose the introduction of new or revised policies as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the HR Shared Services team to ensure internal processes are updated or created in line with new or revised policies.
  • Provide training to the People & Culture team, managers, and staff on the interpretation and application of new policies and procedures.
  • In collaboration with the Employee Relations Manager, monitor changes in employment legislation and adjust related policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Work with People & Culture teams to manage Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) from the Privacy team, ensuring timely information gathering.
  • Deliver efficient, effective, and business-oriented advice on employment matters, including policies, best practices, and employment law, while identifying opportunities and risks to ensure managers are well-informed about HR implications.
  • Support the HR Business Partnering team in integrating policies and procedures within their areas, attending management meetings as needed to facilitate adherence.
  • Evaluate the return on investment from the implementation of new and revised policies, providing updates on benefits and cost savings to the Head of HR Advisory and HR Director.
  • Oversee the HR Advisor team (2 members) in delivering generalist HR advice regarding the implementation of the organization's people policies.
  • This position offers flexibility in location.

Candidate Profile

  • Comprehensive understanding of HR employment law and operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Employee Relations (ER) and employee experience.
  • Exemplifies Mazars values, showcasing a collaborative spirit and the ability to build successful relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient in Excel and data analytics, capable of generating insights through Applicant Tracking Systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong communicator and influencer, dedicated to understanding key stakeholders and their needs.
  • Proven project management skills, adept at collaborating with multiple stakeholders to drive change and enhance processes.
  • Innovative mindset with self-motivation, curiosity, and the drive to effect meaningful change.
