CY Executive Resourcing is collaborating with a reputable and forward-thinking organization to recruit a skilled and self-assured Financial Reporting Specialist to enhance their finance team.


In close partnership with the Finance Manager, the new Financial Reporting Specialist will be instrumental in providing accurate financial insights and supporting ambitious growth initiatives while contributing to the ongoing success of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of precise and timely monthly financial statements, including the necessary collection, examination, approval, and posting of various journal entries and accounting tasks across multiple accounting categories.
  • Delivering presentations to senior leadership to facilitate informed business decisions.
  • Conducting Balance Sheet reconciliations and generating Daily Cashflow Reports.
  • Reviewing the Weekly Financial Forecast.
  • Reporting on organizational assets and liabilities, along with conducting asset register evaluations.
  • Compiling insightful monthly variance analysis reports comparing financial performance against Budget and Weekly Forecast.
  • Executing Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations for Accruals, Prepayments, and Control Accounts.
  • Assisting in the gathering of data for the annual budgeting process, collaborating closely with the Finance Manager to formulate realistic financial plans.
  • Engaging with all levels of the organization and effectively communicating financial information to non-financial personnel.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost reduction to enhance overall business efficiency.
  • Monitoring and implementing relevant legislation, policies, and procedures applicable to the organization.
  • Supporting both internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
  • Overseeing the work of the Assistant Financial Reporting Specialist.

Qualified candidates should possess ACA/CIMA/ACCA credentials along with relevant experience.

This position requires on-site presence, although flexible working hours are available.
