About the Role

The NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead on specific projects within the Transformation Programme.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and deliver complex projects and initiatives, ensuring successful delivery of all elements to agreed levels of time, budget and quality.
  • Manage and co-ordinate resources effectively, ensuring project necessities are fully identified.
  • Ensure change is managed effectively by working with relevant programme teams and key stakeholders.

About the Programme

The Transformation Programme aims to transform Adult Social Care for the Greater Manchester population through a programme of key priorities and associated projects and initiatives.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Qualifications
    • Trained practitioner in a recognised project management methodology.
  • Experience
    • Proven experience of successfully managing and delivering high-value projects using a structured project management process and project management methods, principles, techniques and tools.
    • Experience of successfully leading multi-stakeholder projects.
    • Experience of researching best practice and interpreting its relevance to achieve system reform.
  • Competencies
    • Able to manage opposition and conflict, and persuade others of own point of view.
    • Ability to build and maintain effective working relations with staff at all levels and key stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated capability to plan over short, medium and long-term timeframes and adjust plans and resource requirements accordingly.
    • Ability to analyse complex facts and situations and develop a range of options.
    • Builds support and consensus around decisions and effectively manages the expectations of different parties.
