Job Opportunity

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Audit & Accounts Senior to join a reputable firm of chartered accountants. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive audit and accounts service to a diverse range of corporate and non-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements from clients' trial balances.
  • Audit all areas of financial statements and prepare audit files for review.
  • Take ownership of allocated work, communicating effectively with managers and partners as necessary.
  • Meet deadlines in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, demonstrating a positive attitude and enthusiasm for helping others.
  • Communicate with stakeholders in a kind, respectful, and supportive manner.
  • Provide on-the-job training for team members when appropriate.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate a desire to be part of a dynamic team.
Requirements
  • You will be ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified, with a strong background in audit and accounts experience gained within an accountancy practice environment as an Audit Senior/Executive or Semi-Senior.
  • Your experience will have been gained in a Top Tier/Mid Tier/Top 50 or large/medium independent firm background.
  • You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients, experience of supervising others and delegation of work, along with organizational skills.
  • You will be looking for an opportunity to progress your career, post-qualification, and develop within a leading firm.
Benefits
  • Annual salary £40K - £45K per annum (FTE), depending on experience.
  • Salary review annually in July.
  • Hybrid or remote working.
  • Study support as required.
  • Paid overtime or time off in lieu.
  • Auto-enrolment pension scheme.
  • 25 days annual leave (pro-rata), with an additional day after every 4 years' service, up to 5 additional days, as well as Christmas Eve.
