Job Overview

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Audit & Accounts Senior to join a reputable firm of chartered accountants. As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for providing a mixed audit and accounts service to a range of corporate and non-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements from clients' trial balances.
  • Audit and Accounts Service: Audit all areas of financial statements and prepare audit files for review.
  • Team Leadership: Take responsibility for all work allocated, communicate with manager and partner as necessary, and meet deadlines in an efficient and effective way.
  • Team Collaboration: Committed to work as part of a team, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to help others and take initiative when needed.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate to all stakeholders with kindness, respect, and supporting your team to succeed.
  • Training and Development: Ability to provide on-the-job training for team members when appropriate.
  • Workload Management: Capacity to work on numerous jobs simultaneously.
  • Professional Development: Desire to be part of a dynamic team and progress your career.
Requirements

You will be ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified with a strong background in audit, with demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within an accountancy practice environment as an Audit Senior / Executive or Semi Senior. Your experience will have been gained in any of Top Tier/Mid Tier/Top 50 or large/medium independent firm background. You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients, experience of supervising others and delegation of work, along with organisational skills.

  • Competitive Salary: Annual salary £30K - £42K per annum (FTE), depending on experience.
