Audit and Accounts Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Professional to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a key member of our accounting and auditing team, you will be responsible for providing a mixed audit and accounts service to a range of corporate and non-profit organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements from clients' trial balances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Audit and Accounts Services: Conduct audits of all areas of financial statements, preparing audit files for review and ensuring timely completion of assignments.
- Team Leadership and Communication: Take responsibility for all work allocated, communicating effectively with managers and partners as necessary, and providing on-the-job training for team members when required.
- Time Management and Organization: Meet deadlines in an efficient and effective manner, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Demonstrate a commitment to working as part of a team, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to help others and take initiative when needed.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, managers, and partners, with kindness, respect, and a focus on supporting team success.
- Professional Development: Provide on-the-job training for team members when required and demonstrate a capacity to work on numerous jobs simultaneously.
- Qualifications and Experience: Be ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified, with a strong background in audit and accounts experience gained within an accountancy practice environment as an Audit Senior/Executive or Semi-Senior.
- Industry Experience: Have experience gained in any of Top Tier/Mid Tier/Top 50 or large/medium independent firm backgrounds.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients, experience of supervising others and delegation of work, along with organizational skills.

- Annual Salary: £40K - £45K per annum (FTE), depending on experience.
- Salary Review: Annual salary review in July.
- Hybrid or Remote Working: Opportunity to work in a hybrid or remote environment.
- Study Support: Study support as required.
- Paid Overtime or Time Off in Lieu: Paid overtime or time off in lieu.
- Auto-Enrolment Pension Scheme: Auto-enrolment pension scheme.
- Annual Leave: 25 days annual leave (pro-rata), with an additional day after every 4 years' service, up to 5 additional days, as well as Christmas Eve.
