Audit & Accounts Senior (Not for Profit)

TPF Recruitment is seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join a reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Orpington. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a mixed audit and accounts service to a range of corporate and not-for-profit organisations, primarily consisting of academies. Our client is open to candidates with a strong background in audit and accounts, and they consider part-time and full-time applications. They also offer hybrid and remote working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing financial statements from clients' trial balances;
  • Auditing all areas of financial statements and preparing audit files for review;
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve goals, demonstrating a positive attitude and enthusiasm to help others and take initiative when needed;
  • Providing on-the-job training for team members when appropriate;
Requirements:
  • You will be ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified with a strong background in audit, possessing demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within an accountancy practice environment as an Audit Senior / Executive or Semi Senior.

Benefits:
  • Annual salary £40K - £45K per annum (FTE), depending on experience
  • Salary review annually in July

  • Auto-enrolment pension scheme
  • 25 days annual leave (pro-rata), with an additional day after every 4 years' service, up to 5 additional days, as well as Christmas Eve.
