We are collaborating with a prominent client, a global leader in Professional Consultancy Services catering to the natural resources, infrastructure, and property sectors worldwide.
In response to the ongoing expansion of their operations and clientele, they are enhancing their Information Security Division.
The organization is in search of a seasoned Information Security Expert with a strong background in Microsoft O365 Security Solutions to become a part of their team in Leeds.
Role Overview:
The selected candidate will be responsible for offering expert advice on IT security, formulating and refining policies, and providing support to a large enterprise with over 8300 employees and more than 100 locations globally.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal applicant should possess a minimum of three years of practical experience in Security/Infrastructure within a corporate setting.
Essential Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of enterprise information security standards, including Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, 27002, Data Protection Act, and GDPR.
- Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft O365 ecosystem and its security solutions, threat intelligence analysis, Security Incident Response protocols, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
- Familiarity with security testing methodologies, vulnerability assessments, risk identification, resolution, and reporting.
- Experience in creating formal documentation, such as reports or procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing security incidents and response activities, focusing on cyber threats.
- Conduct regular security checks, reconciliations, and compliance assessments.
- Address security alerts and inquiries from systems and end users.
- Complete security requirement questionnaires for clients and support the bidding process.
- Identify and promote awareness of cyber security risks.
- Develop and enhance security policies, processes, procedures, and technical controls.
- Take an active role in identifying cyber security risks, mitigations, and opportunities to bolster resilience.
- Participate in the design and implementation of systems and applications.
- Create user and technical training materials.
- Maintain and oversee the IT Risk register.
- Test Disaster Recovery plans, identifying gaps, lessons learned, and driving continuous improvement.
Please note that this position is not remote. The office is located in Leeds, and this is a Full-Time, Permanent role (Monday to Friday).
Compensation:
Salary range is approximately £50,000-£60,000, depending on experience.
