Position Overview

As a Cyber Security Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and enhancing the security posture of our clients. Your expertise will be essential in guiding Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) through the Microsoft 365 Certification process, ensuring they meet the necessary standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations on behalf of Microsoft for the Claranet developed Microsoft 365 Certification.
  • Maintain proactive communication with ISVs to facilitate their assessment journey.
  • Offer continuous support to ISVs, whether they are initiating or progressing through their assessments.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft to ensure the successful delivery of the Microsoft Project.
  • Engage in ISV discussions to provide Q&A support and assist with remote assessment activities.
  • Mentor junior colleagues involved in the Microsoft Project when appropriate.
  • Ensure exceptional communication with clients to foster strong relationships.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align with Claranet's strategic vision.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, emerging threats, and technological innovations to tackle new challenges.
  • Review and assess reports generated by the Cyber Security function's Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team.
  • Contribute to the evolution and expansion of the Cyber Security service offerings.
  • Meet any re-certification and Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements necessary for your role.
  • Be prepared to travel to client locations as needed and accommodate out-of-hours work when required.

Collaboration

  • Work with Customer Experience and Managed Services to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Growth teams to align the service portfolio with client needs.
  • Support the integration of Cyber Security services into client solutions alongside the Portfolio, Alliances & Technology Practices teams.
  • Coordinate with Finance & Corporate Development for expense submissions related to work activities.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Familiarity with audit frameworks such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly those from Amazon and Microsoft.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and its implications.
  • Experience managing client projects and providing information security consulting services.
