Who You Will Support & Role Overview:
  • Who will you be supporting?
  • Our diverse team supports adults aged 18 and above.
  • Individuals may vary in mobility, from fully independent to those requiring wheelchair assistance.
  • We assist both verbal and non-verbal individuals.
  • Our support caters to tenants with various conditions and needs, including:
    • Comprehensive assistance with personal care
    • Support for mobility within their living environment
    • Facilitating community access for participation in daily activities
    • Utilizing our own vehicle for transportation with staff assistance (a valid UK driving license is required)
    • Providing a variety of food and drink options to meet dietary needs
    • Supporting individuals with health conditions such as autism, learning disabilities, mental health issues, and dementia.
What Matters to Those We Support:
  • Enjoyment of outdoor activities, shopping, dining, and group outings such as bowling and zoo visits.
  • Interests include music, movies, cooking, and baking.
  • We foster a fun, kind, caring, and respectful environment, ensuring personal space and belongings are honored.

Additional Information:

  • At least two colleagues are present during the day shifts, with one colleague on a sleep-in night shift.
  • Preferred shift pattern includes long days, from 09:00 a.m. to 09:00 a.m. the following day (including sleep-in hours).
  • Our primary goal is to maintain a clean, friendly, and safe home, ensuring individual preferences and choices are prioritized.
