Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days a week) at one of the UK's fastest growing food manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:- Achieve BRC Accreditation: Lead the transition from SALSA to BRC accreditation as soon as possible.
- Build and Develop the Technical Department: Establish and expand the technical department to support both organic growth and acquisitions.
- Timely Reporting: Provide necessary and timely reports to help management run the business in compliance with all technical standards and regulations.
- Customer and Sales Support: Offer technical support to customers and sales teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP processes to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
- Supplier Management: Ensure all suppliers are approved, deliveries are quality checked, documentation is complete, and specifications are met.
- Brand Quality: Ensure the production and delivery of products meet the quality standards of our brand.
- Training: Provide comprehensive training on all aspects of food safety, quality, systems, and processes.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
