We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Director to join our small team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a rapidly growing business, where you will have the chance to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve BRC Accreditation: Lead the transition from SALSA to BRC accreditation as soon as possible.
  • Build and Develop the Technical Department: Establish and expand the technical department to support both organic growth and acquisitions.
  • New Product Development (NPD): Assist with an agreed program of NPD to drive innovation and growth.
  • Timely Reporting: Provide necessary and timely reports to help management run the business in compliance with all technical standards and regulations.
  • Customer and Sales Support: Offer technical support to customers and sales teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP processes to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
  • Supplier Management: Ensure all suppliers are approved, deliveries are quality checked, documentation is complete, and specifications are met.
