Food Technical Specialist

Salary: £27,000 (£40,000 - £45,000 Pro Rata)
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead / "Head of" to join a small team on a part-time basis (3 days a week Mon - Wed or Tues - Thurs) at one of the UK's fastest growing food manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:- Achieve BRC Accreditation: Lead the transition from SALSA to BRC accreditation as soon as possible.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP processes to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
- Supplier Management: Ensure all suppliers are approved, deliveries are quality checked, documentation is complete, and specifications are met.
- Brand Quality: Ensure the production and delivery of products meet the quality standards of our brand.
- Training: Provide comprehensive training on all aspects of food safety, quality, systems, and processes.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
