At 15gifts, we're seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Product Engineering team. As the Head of Product Engineering, you'll be responsible for driving the development of best-in-class products that meet the evolving needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership
    • Build and lead a high-performing Product Engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
    • Develop and execute strategies to drive team growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Technical Vision
    • Advocate for and implement cutting-edge engineering principles, practices, and technologies to drive technical excellence.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop and execute product roadmaps that align with business goals and user needs.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize product features and requirements.
  • People Management
    • Lead a team of 30 engineers, including individual contributors and people managers.
    • Develop and mentor direct reports, providing coaching and guidance to help them grow in their careers.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving team success.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Deep understanding of software development principles, practices, and technologies.
    • Experience with cloud services, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Communication Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen
    • Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to make informed decisions that drive business outcomes.
