Work Environment

We are on the lookout for a Senior Support Worker to become part of our newly established supported living initiative. In this role, you will assist adults diagnosed with Autism, Mental Health issues, and Learning Disabilities in achieving independence within the community. Prior to engaging with individuals, you will undergo essential training conducted locally.

As a Senior Support Worker, your contributions will significantly enhance the lives of those we serve. If you are passionate about helping others, you will appreciate the blend of managerial responsibilities and direct support, while also advancing your own career through valuable experience and training.


Key Responsibilities

Our St Barts service seeks individuals who are collaborative and can motivate others. The Senior Support Worker will collaborate with the management team to provide frontline support to Support Workers in their daily functions, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures while facilitating the onboarding of new staff. Responsibilities include managing schedules, supervising staff, coaching team members, and ensuring quality support for those we assist.


Ideal Candidate Profile

To be considered for this position, you must possess prior experience in Support Work or Health Care and have a valid driving license.

Additionally, you should be:

  • A proactive team player with a vibrant personality
  • Skilled in effective communication
  • Capable of performing the physical demands of the role, including manual handling

Training and Development Opportunities

We provide training for those eager to enhance their skills and competencies, not only in the care sector but in various other fields as well.

  • Level 2 and 3 Lead Adult Care Worker
  • Level 3 Operational Team Leader
  • Level 5 Management and Leadership

Please note that training will commence after the completion of a 6-month probation period. Once training begins, you will be assigned a coach to guide you through your program.
