About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional to join our team at Mountain Healthcare Ltd. As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional, you will work closely with the police to provide high-quality healthcare services to detainees in custody suites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forensic sampling, including road traffic offence bloods
  • Signposting and conducting referrals, offering support for vulnerabilities and supporting patients to break patterns of re-offending
  • Delivering substance misuse therapies
  • Assessment and care of detainees and staff in custody suites
  • Acute disease management
  • Promoting good personal healthcare
  • Working with Liaison and Diversion to identify any mental health needs

Person Specification

  • Qualified Registered Nurse or Paramedic
  • A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
  • Acute medical healthcare experience

Working Hours

The 4-on-4-off rota pattern will give you the ability to plan your personal life months in advance. The shift pattern comprises of two day shifts, two night shifts, then 4 days off. This is for Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.
