Billing Administrator - CONTRACT POSITION

Role Overview:

Project Partners is seeking a skilled Billing Administrator to join our dynamic team within the telecommunications sector. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sales invoices for managerial review.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Legal Teams to ensure billing aligns with contract stipulations.
  • Participate in the customer onboarding process, assisting account management in setting clear expectations.
  • Work with project teams to gather customer requirements for efficient billing and prompt payments.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any billing-related issues.
  • Facilitate intercompany billing and manage invoicing between subsidiaries.
  • Conduct reconciliations of source data against billed data to validate the manual billing process.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Excel, including Lookups and Pivot Tables.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Quick learner with a financial background.
  • Proficient in reconciling work and demonstrating methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with both finance and non-finance personnel.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Access Database.
  • Experience in telecommunications billing.
  • Knowledge of SalesForce and NetSuite.
  • Experience with large data sets and understanding of double-entry accounting.

Educational Background:

GCSE level or equivalent.
