Job Title: Director of Marketing and Sales

Exertis (UK) Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Marketing and Sales to lead our sales and marketing efforts. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth, enhance brand presence, and ensure profitable, sustainable sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  2. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to maximise performance.
  3. Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Manage a mix of field and office-based sales people to drive growth and consistently achieve on-target performance.
  5. Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior leadership.

Marketing Management:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote and increase sales of Exertis (UK) Ltd. products and services.
  2. Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including digital content, brochures, and advertisements.
  3. Oversee the management of the company's online presence, including the website and social media channels.
  4. Coordinate market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies.

Strategic Leadership:

  1. Work closely with the senior leadership team to align sales and marketing strategies with overall company goals.
  2. Foster a customer-centric culture within the sales and marketing teams.
  3. Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance sales and marketing effectiveness.

Collaboration and Communication:

  1. Collaborate with other departments, including Purchasing and Customer Support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  2. Build relationships as part of the wider Exertis (UK) Ltd. Sales Team, and be the voice for the company in that team.
  3. Provide regular updates to the senior management team on sales and marketing performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Business Management/Administration.
  2. Proven experience in a sales leadership role, with some marketing experience - preferably within the medical or healthcare industry.
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  4. In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
  5. Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
