About the Role

As a key member of the UL Solutions team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Compliance Team Leader to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective capacity and capability management strategies to drive business results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project scope and technical needs, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance financial performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage high-performing teams, focusing on employee development and performance management.
  • Operate effectively in a matrix organization, supporting business initiatives and transformation efforts.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and requirements, promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Lead and participate in discussions to drive business initiatives, leveraging expertise and knowledge to inform decision-making.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field, plus five years of directly related experience.
  • Lean Sigma Green Belt or Lean Leadership Training, Gage R&R experience, or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business decision-making, team management, and strategic planning.
  • Ability to manage employee performance, respond to employee relations issues, and lead in a Lean Sigma organization.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, process documents, and plans, and present information in a concise and powerful manner.
  • Ability to take calculated risks, plan for contingencies, and listen, learn, and teach.
  • Proficiency in local language and basic English, with awareness of cultural diversity and customer collaboration skills.
