About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our outpatient pharmacy team as a Medicines Counter Assistant. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, hospital staff, and service users, both at the reception counter and via the telephone.
  • Accurately receive prescriptions into the pharmacy and correctly process payments for prescriptions and other items using the till.
  • Offer advice on over-the-counter products and refer patients appropriately to the pharmacist.
  • Operate IT systems and support stock management as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • GCSE Mathematics and English qualifications.
