The primary responsibility of the EHS Operations Manager is to provide guidance to the Construction team on health and safety issues, while also overseeing the health and safety performance of the project and its subcontractors. This role entails ensuring that the EHS Department delivers a comprehensive suite of services, such as inspections, audits, training, accident investigations, and environmental assessments. The EHS Manager will collaborate closely with the Client and subcontractor EHS supervisors and engage with external regulatory bodies as needed. This position may require travel across various locations.

  • Implement and uphold the EHS management system and ensure compliance.
  • Supervise adherence to Safe Practices and relevant local regulations.
  • Advise leadership on EHS-related matters.
  • Organize EHS initiatives and activities to foster a culture of safety among workers.
  • Report and communicate with management and authorities regarding incidents.
  • Conduct daily inspections and address unsafe behaviors and conditions.
  • Train and oversee workers in safe work practices.
  • Maintain and review EHS documentation and checklists.
  • Ensure the delivery of the Project EHS Induction.
  • Verify that the latest revisions of EHS documents are utilized.
  • Serve as a role model for supervisors, employees, and contractors.
Show your expertise
  • Possess an Engineering Degree and a Master's Degree with over 10 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety within Major Construction projects and Operational/Manufacturing environments in the Semiconductor and Pharmaceutical Industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Impact Prevention Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, Design Safety Risk Assessment, and Leadership in Team/Group settings.
