Job Summary

Exyte is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Construction team, you will be responsible for advising on health and safety matters, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain an effective EHS management system, ensuring compliance with Exyte's policies and procedures.
  • Supervise the observance of safe practices and local regulations, providing guidance and support to management and staff.
  • Advise management on EHS matters, including risk assessment, incident investigation, and training.
  • Organize and deliver EHS programs and activities to promote safe conduct of workers, including inductions, training, and monitoring.
  • Report and liaise with management and relevant authorities on accidents and incidents.
  • Conduct daily inspections and take corrective action on unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Train and monitor workers on safe work practices, ensuring compliance with Exyte's EHS policies.
  • Maintain and monitor EHS records and checklists, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure the Project EHS Induction is delivered and that the latest revision of Exyte's EHS documents is in use.
  • Set an example for all supervisors, employees, and contractors to follow.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree and Master's degree with 10+ years' experience in Environmental Health and Safety on Major Construction projects and Operational/Manufacturing sites in the Semi-Conductor and Pharmaceutical Industries.
  • Key experience in Impact Prevention Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, Design Safety Risk assessment, and Environmental Programs, as well as Team/Group Leadership.
