Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement a health and safety culture within the working environment to ensure all colleagues adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
* Create, maintain and monitor the Environmental and Safety Management System, procedures, documentation and audit system.
* Conduct EH&S compliance evaluations, inspections and audits in line with requirements, coordinate outputs and liaise with site management to ensure actions are completed.
* Provide advice on the improvement of ways of working to continuously improve EH&S standards within the company.
* Identify risks and carry out appropriate risk assessments in all areas. Work with colleagues to encourage a 'near miss reporting' culture.
* Lead and participate in detailed accident/incident investigations and reports, in accordance with relevant H&S legislation and regulations.
**About the Role:**
As a Health and Safety Advisor at LER (SG) Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our employees and the safety of our operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures, conducting regular audits and inspections, and providing guidance on risk management and compliance.
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
