Job Summary
Exyte is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team. As an EHS Manager, you will be responsible for advising the Construction team on health and safety matters, monitoring the health and safety performance of the Project, and ensuring compliance with Exyte's EHS Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain an effective EHS management system, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Exercise general supervision of the observance of safe practices and local regulations, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Advise management on EHS matters, providing expert guidance on risk assessment, control, and mitigation.
- Organize and deliver EHS training programs, promoting a culture of safety among workers.
- Conduct regular inspections and investigations, identifying and addressing unsafe acts and conditions.
- Develop and maintain EHS records and checklists, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Ensure the Project EHS Induction is delivered, and the latest revision of Exyte's EHS documents is in use.
- Set an example for all supervisors, employees, and contractors, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility.
Requirements
- Engineering degree and Master's degree with 10+ years' experience in Environmental Health and Safety on Major Construction projects and Operational/Manufacturing sites in the Semi-Conductor and Pharmaceutical Industries.
- Proven experience in Impact Prevention Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, Design Safety Risk assessment, and Environmental Programs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
