EHS Manager

Exyte Central Europe GmbH is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Construction team, you will be responsible for advising on health and safety matters, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
About the RoleThe EHS Manager will work closely with the Client and sub-contractor's EHS supervisors, liaising with external enforcement agencies as necessary. This role requires travel to and from sites across Europe and can be contracted through UK & Ireland.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain EHS management systems and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Exercise general supervision of the observance of safe practices and local regulations.
- Advise management on EHS matters and organize programs to promote safe conduct of workers.
- Conduct daily inspections, report accidents, and liaise with management and relevant authorities.
- Train and monitor workers on safe work practices and maintain EHS records.
- Ensure the Project EHS Induction is delivered and the latest revision of Exyte EHS documents is in use.
- Set an example for all supervisors, employees, and contractors to follow.
- Engineering degree and Master's degree with 10+ years' experience in EHS on Major Construction projects and Operational/Manufacturing sites in the Semi-Conductor and Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Key experience in Impact Prevention Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, Design Safety Risk assessment, and Environmental Programs, as well as Team/Group Leadership.
