Key Responsibilities
  • Perform linguistic evaluations on games and applications to accurately identify and document issues
  • Assess in-game text for linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance
  • Adhere to the Universally Speaking Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) process and industry standards to guarantee superior outcomes
  • Generate comprehensive bug reports utilizing industry-standard tracking systems
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure that identified issues are resolved and properly integrated
  • Lead LQA testing initiatives across a variety of Indie and AAA titles
  • Design and implement test cases throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify and propose enhancements for processes and efficiencies
  • Work closely with the QA team to facilitate smooth testing operations
Qualifications
  • Fluency in German and a strong command of English
  • Previous experience in Localization Quality Assurance, translation, or proofreading is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools and test case management software
  • A genuine passion for video games coupled with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet stringent deadlines
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of the MS Office Suite
