As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the University of Wolverhampton and attracting students through multi-channel campaigns. You'll be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance our local, national, and global presence, fostering engagement and driving growth.

About the Team

Our Marketing team, part of our Marketing, Communications and Digital Services Directorate, is a diverse and supportive group of individuals passionate about promoting the university and attracting new students. We value diversity of thought and experience, and we are committed to creating an inclusive and collaborative environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their best. We offer flexible working hours and a hybrid working model (onsite and remote) to support a balanced work-life experience.

The Marketing Team is led by our Deputy Director, Brand and Marketing. You will manage a team of Faculty marketing Officers and collaborate closely with the Brand Marketing Manager, Marketing Communications and Content Manager, Creative Service Manager, Designers, Content Creators, and Copy Writers. You'll also have access to support from the wider directorate members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve university goals.
  • Manage and optimize online campaigns across various platforms, including search engine optimization (SEO), social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Analyze data and metrics to track campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with university objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Strategist with a proven track record of success in higher education or a related field. You should possess strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required.
