Account Sales Specialist

Job Title - Sales EngineerLocation - High Wycombe, BucksSalary - 50k-60k depending on experienceOur client is seeking a Sales Engineer with technical product expertise to bridge the gap between customer needs and product capabilities.
Role Overview:
The Sales Engineer will collaborate with the internal sales team to understand customer requirements, present technical solutions, and ensure successful product implementation. This role involves pre-sales technical support, post-sales follow-up, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target accounts.
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets in alignment with company growth objectives.
Develop accurate sales forecasts, budget plans, and sales performance reports for senior management.
Lead, mentor, and manage the internal sales team to support business growth.
Collaborate with the engineering team in preparing technical proposals and responses to RFPs and RFQs.
Translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions using in-depth knowledge of product features.
Support the internal sales team with planning and running exhibitions.
Serve as a product and solution expert, able to discuss technical and commercial aspects of the offering.
Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, partnerships, and customers.
Responsible for maintaining a good knowledge of our key competitor's approaches and performance in this area.
Assume client interface role.
Contribute effectively to Management Team with development strategies.
Remain conversant with new industry standards and practices.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience and knowledge in an electrical sales backgroundKnowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications
