Optometrist Specialist

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced A&E Optometrist to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist to provide high-quality eye care services to our patients. As an A&E Optometrist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with complex eye conditions, including paediatric ophthalmology, corneal, glaucoma, neurology, diabetic, and macular clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive and high-quality Optometric services as an autonomous practitioner.
- Assess and manage patients from paediatric ophthalmology, corneal, glaucoma, neurology, diabetic, and macular clinics, including patients with special educational needs.
- Teach Optometry to medical and non-medical personnel and participate in the clinical supervision of undergraduate students.
