Role Overview:
We are in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Senior Commercial Operations Manager with a robust background in Quantity Surveying.
The successful candidate will possess experience in the construction or civil engineering fields and will excel in contract management, client engagement, and team leadership.
Core Responsibilities:
Contract Oversight:
Manage one NEC and one PFI contract, ensuring adherence to compliance and performance benchmarks.
Client Engagement:
Serve as the main liaison for clients, nurturing and enhancing relationships through effective communication and service excellence.
Team Management:
Lead and develop a team of two, promoting a collaborative and efficient work atmosphere.
Financial Management:
Supervise project budgets, perform financial forecasting, and implement cost control strategies.
Hybrid Work Model:
Effectively balance remote work with regular on-site engagements.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience:
Demonstrated experience as a Senior Commercial Operations Manager with a solid foundation in Quantity Surveying, preferably within the construction or civil engineering sectors.
Skills:
Exceptional client-facing abilities with a proven history of fostering and enhancing client relationships.
Qualifications:
Relevant credentials in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Flexibility:
Capability to operate in a hybrid work environment, effectively managing remote and on-site responsibilities.
Contractual Knowledge:
Essential familiarity with NEC and PFI contracts.
