Exciting Opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our integrated Mental Health team at HMP The Mount. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent clinical care, assessment, and treatment to patients on the case load onsite.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care, assessment, and treatment to patients on the case load onsite
  • Actively participate in the strategic direction of the mental health service, lead the senior mental health clinicians on service developments, and provide clinical supervision
  • Work within the multi-disciplinary team to review referrals, determine appropriate treatment plans, conduct risk assessments, and engage in multi-professional complex case reviews
