Senior HR Advisor

SGS is a global leader in sustainability, quality, and integrity, with a workforce of 99,600-strong across 2,600 offices and labs. We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
Job Type:Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
As an HR Advisor at SGS, you will play a key role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. Your responsibilities will include providing HR guidance to management, implementing effective HR policies and procedures, and driving employee engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, employee relations, and case management. You will be responsible for managing employee relations and performance management, conducting investigations into employee complaints, and staying updated with employment laws and regulations and HR best practice.
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual with notable experience in employee relations and case work, performance management, capability, disciplinary hearings, and absence management. Proficiency in HR software and systems is also essential.
